I personally love this griddle. It is one of the most frivolous items that we had on our wedding registry but it is also one of our most loved. Almost every weekend I make some sort of pancakes (chocolate chip, banana nut, blueberry, etc etc). We have saved a lot of money compared to going out to our local breakfast restaurant, and mine are just as tasty if not better! Also, everyone's pancakes are done at the same time because of the large working area (HUGE advantage over a stovetop griddle). I only gave this griddle 4 stars instead of 5 because it DOES take up a ton of space in the cupboard. Also, after using this to make sausages and eggs at the same time as pancakes I have decided to keep making those items in a pan on the stove, it is just much easier and less messy (grease hole doesn't work all that great). I also never bother putting the warming tray in, but if you were making TONS of pancakes (ie 10-12+) then it might be useful. Overall though, if you looooove pancakes, this is a good way to go.
