received from Amazon in June 2009. My stove was soooo blink because it was purchased not wait in New York, I have this player. It's fantastic. Has a line that goes from 1-5 I have a pot of water to choose 5 and in 8-10 minutes, the water is boiling like no tomorrow and ready for the noodles. again up to 3 and your pasta is done. Now, set the slider to keep warm and looks like a pot Slow .... Keep food warm for hours. is all in a pot to cook like a normalStove ... but needs more quickly. The gas is slower than electric heating pots. This is great for use at any time.
